Show a Little Love
Spring and Summer are all about GROWTH. Everywhere around us, things are bursting - new leaves, new flowers, new creatures, and critters. It is an excellent reminder for us as business owners to remember to nurture and grow our relationships with our customers. Here are three simple ways to show your customers how much you appreciate their business.
- Touch Base. Check in with your customers consistently. Send an email, mail a card, or zap them a text. It is important to let your customers know that you are thinking about them and that you value them.
- Reward Them. You cannot put a price on loyalty, especially when it comes to the value of a loyal customer that keeps placing orders. Reward that loyalty whenever you can. Offer them a savings every other or every third order. Reach out to them when a product they order frequently is on sale, and let them know you can save them a bit during this opportunity.
- Gifts are Good. We all like to feel appreciated, and that is true for our customers. Why not take the time to run off an extra shirt, cap or tote bag with that logo, and include it with their order. Tuck in a Thank You for your business card, so they know why it is in the order. Toss in a handful of candies to really sweeten the message. It is the little things that can set you apart from the competition and keep you as the front-runner the next time they need to order.
