Embroidery Mart-ATLANTA Canceled

The National Network of Embroidery Professionals announced that the Embroidery Mart-ATLANTA trade show will not be held in May, 2020 at the Cobb Galleria Centre. This decision was made after continuous monitoring of the risks and impact of the COVID-19 Coronavirus throughout our country.

We have been in constant contact with the Cobb Centre. We decided that in light of the potential health risks, it was necessary to not hold the Embroidery Mart-ATLANTA trade show as scheduled at the beginning of May, 2020.

We are working with the Cobb Centre currently to see if the event can be rescheduled later this year. We will update you as this situation continues to evolve. We appreciate your patience and your support through this process.

Obviously this brings on a LOT of questions and challenges.

Here is what is happening behind the scenes here at NNEP and how these things will impact YOU:

1. We are working with the Cobb Galleria Centre to try and reschedule the show. If we can find dates that work and do not conflict with other events that are also scrambling like lobsters trying to avoid the kettle, we will let you know immediately!
2. We are going DIGITAL! Let me be the first to introduce you to the NNEP's newest event, the Apparel Decorator Summit. This is a virtual trade show and educational event. We will keep you looped in as this unfolds. The event is expected to take place in early June, possibly June 2-4, 2020. Stay tuned!
3. The schools in the state of Ohio have been closed for the next 3 weeks at least. Because several of our staff have young school-aged children, NNEP will be operating with minimal staff in the office and we will be working from our homes as much as possible to minimize the risks for all. We will continue to communicate with the decorated apparel industry via email and will respond to voice mails as quickly as possible.

Like every other business, this situation will have a huge and lasting impact on the NNEP. Here's hoping that we all make it through this and come out on the other side with a successful strategy for the survival of our businesses. If you have any questions, please let me know.
