Pinterest.com has arrived as a new player in the social media arena, at least it is new to us here at NNEP. Imagine an old fashioned cork bulletin board, and then take it virtual - and you have pinterest.com. While Facebook is about forming social connections; pinterest is a way to bookmark your site, other favorite sites, articles and images VISUALLY, rather than in a list format. And here is the kicker – others can see and follow your bulletin boards.
Initially, I thought, “OK, but why should I care? How could this apply to my business?” After poking around a bit more on the site, I began to realize just how powerful of a tool pinterest.com could be, if used intentionally.
