Way to GO Embroidery Mart Attendees!!! More than 270 pounds of new apparel items were donated during the Embroidery Network Foundation’s DoDuds Apparel Drive during the NNEP’s Embroidery Mart trade show in Nashville, TN on August 5-6, 2016!
All of this new apparel was shipped to women’s shelters, to help these facilities serve the women in need and their families. It is not uncommon for these folks to come to these facilities with nothing beyond what they are wearing or could gather and carry quickly. These donations of new apparel items are greatly appreciated by these people and the facilities that are sheltering them.
If you have any samples, discontinued items, even “oopsies” that are just sitting in a box, in a corner or on a shelf – they can be put to use! Send your unsellable new apparel to the Embroidery Network Foundation’s DoDuds program. We gather these new products, which can be decorated with anything, or plain, sort them and then ship them to facilities all over the United States, based on their current needs and the weather in that region.
The Embroidery Network Foundation (ENF) is a 501(c)3 organization. 100% of cash donations made to the ENF are used to cover the shipping costs to get the donated goods to the facilities. The NNEP staff volunteers their time to receive, sort, pack and ship the donated items throughout the year.
If you would like to know more about this program, email DoDuds@nnep.com.
If you would like to send a donation of new apparel blank or decorated (even oopsies) items (please do not send baseball caps – most facilities will not accept them), ship them to:
